The success of our adoption program speaks for itself! We are incredibly proud to announce that we are closing in on 1,000 Adoptions in just 18 months! We greatly appreciate the support of all our Adoptee Families who have made the commitment to give an unwanted animal a new lease on life. We have also raised almost $100,000 for Lort Smith in Adoption Fees and Donations during this time!

We want to acknowledge the incredible support we have gained from our partners the Lort Smith Animal Hospital. Managing the adoption program is not an easy thing to do. That’s why our program is so unique – our company and particularly our staff (like no others) take great pride in our commitment to animal welfare.

At the moment, it’s not uncommon for our enclosures to be empty from time to time. This is due to the overwhelming success of the program and the exacting standards our partnership places on the health and wellbeing of the animals involved.

So if you come into one of our Adoption Centres and don’t see any puppies, kittens, cats and dogs, don’t despair – just know we are doing the best for the animals. More pets will be available in the near future.

Our Chadstone Flagship Store Launch was all glitter and glamour when My Dog hosted a star studded celebrity "Paws on Parade" on the 12th November.

Richmond Star Nathan Brown, Australian Swimming Champion Brooke Hansen, Channel Nine's Georgia Sinclair and their dogs rubbed shoulders with some of Melbourne's most glamorous pets and pet owners for the My Dog event hosted by Pete Lazer.

It was an incredible night enjoyed by all two and four legged guests. During the night Managing Director of Pets at Home David Herman also proudly announced that Pets at Home's Adoption Centres' had generated in excess of $50,000 for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital in their first 6 months of operation.
